Eat, drink, and be merry at Wigle Whiskey next week, for the Renaissance-themed release of Wigle’s Summer Malt.
As part of the celebration on Friday, July 28, Chef Rafael Vencio of “Kanto” kitchen (and former chef at aubergine bistro in the Smallman Galley) will be selling homemade doughy dumpling and pierogies. Additionally, Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival members will be bringing entertainment to the party, ensuring this to be a lively feast!
Summer Malt is the first spirit in the Pennsylvania Malt Series, and was aged for two years in small casks. The flavor is smooth, rich, and sweet, and the drink is made with organic malted wheat and organic malted barley.
This event will take place at the Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse on the North Side. Tickets are $15 per person, and can be purchased online.
