You Won’t Believe What Sandwich is Pittsburgh’s Favorite (According to UberEATS)

November 2, 2017 by Emily Catalano Leave a Comment

Statistics don’t lie… do they?

In honor of National Sandwich Day tomorrow, UberEATS has just released their list of the the sandwiches that UberEats customers have ordered the most.

And at the top of the list? McDonald’s McChicken.

(Stop, record scratch)

What?

Yes, even in this sandwich town, Pittsburghers are lovin’ McDonald’s. Of course, the list only covers the restaurants that offer delivery through the service (about a hundred, give or take), so it’s not exactly a complete calculation of Pittsburgh’s favorite.

Elsewhere on the list you’ll find Primanti Brothers (with six spots), Bagel Factory, Wings Over Pittsburgh and The Yard rounding out the top 10.

UberEATS’ list of Pittsburgh’s favorite sandwiches, ranked by the number of UberEATS orders:

  1. McChicken (McDonald’s)

  2. Pitts-Burger and Cheese (Primanti Brothers)

  3. Bacon, Egg and Cheese (Bagel Factory)

  4. Pastrami and Cheese Sandwich (Primanti Brothers)

  5. Capicola and Cheese Sandwich (Primanti Brothers)

  6. Summer Avocado Piada (Piada)

  7. Fried Chicken Sandwich (Wings Over Pittsburgh)

  8. Angus Sirloin Steak and Cheese Sandwich (Primanti Brothers)

  9. Corned Beef and Cheese Sandwich (Primanti Brothers)

  10. Smack Yo Mama Sandwich (The Yard Gastropub)

According to an UberEATS press release, the most popular time to order sandwiches in Pittsburgh is 6:00 p.m., and orders spike weekly on Fridays.
