Bae Bae’s Kitchen Named “Yelp Top 100 Places to Eat in 2020”

January 15, 2020 by Madeline Quigley 1 Comment

Congratulations are in order for Bae Bae’s Kitchen, a popular Korean restaurant located in Downtown Pittsburgh! Yelp just named the fast-casual eatery one of the top places to eat in America in 2020.

The announcement was part of Yelp’s annual “America’s Top 100 Places to Eat” list. The list is formulated by Yelp’s data science team, calculating factors such as ratings, number of reviews, and input from Yelp’s national team of Community Managers. ( We ❤️our Pittsburgh community manager, Rachel!)

Yelp insists the list is unlike any other, featuring both white tablecloth restaurants and off-the-beaten-path gems.

“The result is a list as quirky, interesting and unique as the Yelp Community itself,” Yelp writes on their blog.

This year, Bae Bae’s Kitchen was ranked 88, sandwiched between MOZZ, in Utah, and Alleia in Tennessee.

Bae Bae’s dubs itself a “Korean Inspired eatery focusing on local, healthy, organic ingredients.” The menu includes dishes like Bulgogi, Korean Fried Chicken, Korean Chicken Wings, Vegetable Tempura, Kimchi Dumplings, KimBap, and more.

Also representing Pennsylvania on the list is Chellas Arepa Kitchen in Lancaster (#44), and El Bocado in Philadelphia, PA (#85). If you’re traveling across the US this year, be sure to check out the list for recommendations in cities across the country.
