There’s a new spot to satisfy your hot chicken cravings.
CHiKN opened their seocnd Pittsburgh-area location over the weekend, this time in on Route 19 in Cranberry.
The restaurant specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, fried in peanut oil, and prepared to your specific level of heat, with options that include Southern (no heat), Mild, Medium, Hot and Damn Hot.
In addition to their fried chicken-breast sandwiches (served with fresh Dill pickles, Cole Slaw, and ‘Comeback’ sauce on a Brioche bun), CHiKN’s menu also features tenders, nuggets, Chicken & Waffles (with homemade waffles, honey butter and maple syrup), and green salads.
They also offer Nashville Hot Fries, crinkle-cut fries topped with melted cheddar cheese, bacon, red peppers, and chicken tenders.
Side dishes include Mac & Cheese, crinkle-cut fries, Cole slaw and banana pudding.
The first location of CHiKN opened in Oakland in 2019. The restaurant is also hosting temporary pop-ups in Wexford and Hampton.
CHiKN Cranberry is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and are currently open for takeout, dine-in and delivery through DoorDash and GrubHub.
