The doors will be opening soon at the new Mediterra Café.
The Sewickley-based café and bakery announced plans this summer to open a new location in Mt. Lebanon, taking over the space at 292 Beverly Road in the former Fairlane location.
Now comes news that the new spot will officially open for business on Friday, November 6.
Offering the same handmade handmade pastries, artisan breads, and gourmet pantry items of the original location, the new Mt. Lebanon space will also offer a full bar with a cocktail list and wine, and a tapas-like dinner program, plus a coffee bar, and grab-and-go food items.
Owner Nick Ambeliotis says that the new location will also have a retail market, with items like organic eggs and milk, specialty chocolates, charcuterie, bread, local honey, imported olive oils and vinegars, and a massive selection of more than 150 cheeses.
The cafe’s opening hours will be Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
