Just in time for Valentine’s Day, two of our favorite Pittsburgh brands are releasing a love-inspired collaboration.
‘Almost in Love’ is a limited-edition chocolate-cherry stout, created in partnership between East End Brewing and Primanti Bros. Brewed with flavorful Michigan cherries, with a hint of cacao and milk sugar, the brew is part of an ongoing collaboration between the two brands to create unique beers, like this summer’s Almost Famous Pickle Beer.
On Tuesday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m., Primanti’s Market Square will be hosting a “First Crack” ceremony, and releasing the beer to fans.
Almost in Love will be available (while supplies last!) in 16-oz cans and sold as individual servings at Primanti’s, or as a four-pack to go at 23 locations across the region, and at East End Brewing.
“Primanti Bros. and East End Brewing’s relationship has been an ongoing love affair,” said East End Brewing owner Scott Smith in a release. “We put our heart and soul into all of our beers, and Almost in Love Cherry Chocolate Stout is a loving expression of that passion, all tucked into a tidy 16-oz package. Now fans already in love with Primanti Bros. sandwiches can fall in love all over again without cheating on their main squeeze… think dessert!”
