Muddy Waters Oyster Bar is hosting a hands-on oyster class, with all of the tips, techniques (and oysters) you’ll need to become a master shucker.
On Sunday, February 19 at 3:00 p.m., join them for the hour-long class, which will focus on safe shucking techniques, tasting different oyster species, and a discussion of sustainable farming techniques.
Tickets are available on two levels: $50 tickets include 18 oysters to shuck and eat, free-flowing rum punch from Bayou Rum, and the class. $75 tickets include the class with 18 oysters, Bayou Rum punch, and your very own shucking knife to take home.
