Are you feeling extra festive this holiday season? Then get yourself to one of the many (many) holiday bars that have been popping up in the city this month.

Miracle on Liberty

Downtown

The super-popular Miracle holiday pop-up bar has opened not one, but two locations this year – one Downtown, and one on the South Side. Miracle on Liberty is located in the Clark Building, and features wall-to-wall Christmas decor, and a newly-expanded menu of holiday cocktails. Miracle on Liberty will be open every day (including Christmas!) through Tuesday, December 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Miracle on Carson

South Side

The second Miracle location is Miracle on Carson in the South Side, featuring the same holiday cocktail menu (Run Run Rudolph, anyone?), and the same over-the-top decorations. Miracle on Carson is open daily through Tuesday, December 31 from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Downtown

You’ll find a more upscale holiday vibe at tina’s (holiday) bar in the Americus Club this year. From the same crew that brought you Tina’s in Bloomfield, tina’s (holiday) features cocktails, holiday punches, and natural wines. They’re open every Thursday through Sunday in December.

Whoville Pop-Up

Oakland

The Hilton Garden Inn in Oakland has transformed into Whoville for the holiday season, featuring all kinds of How the Grinch Stole Christmas decorations, movie-inspired bites, and cocktails. Enjoy it now through December 21.

Bakery Square

The team behind Federal Galley and Smallman Galley has officially taken over the former Coffee Tree and Summer of Soft Serve location in Bakery Square for a seasonal holiday pop-up bar. Chrismukkah Galley has holiday-inspired cocktails, beer and plenty of non-alcoholic beverages, too, plus lots of holiday events happening. They’re also serving a small food menu.

A Christmas Story Pop-Up Bar

Green Tree

On Thursday, December 19 and Friday, December 20, the Doubletree Hotel in Green Tree is transforming their Duquesne Room bar into a tribute to the classic holiday movie, a Christmas Story. They’ll have vintage decor, movie-inspired cocktails, and the film will be streaming continuously while the bar is open.

Jingle Bar

Downtown

This bar space on Forbes Avenue always has some kind of cool pop-up theme happening – from Tiki time to Halloween to Game of Thrones. Right now, it’s been transformed into the Jingle Bar, with a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer theme, complete with Christmas cocktails, decorations and more.
