Calling all fans of The Office!
Sugar Spell Scoops, the vegan ice creamery located in Sharpsburg, has announced that they’ll be releasing a special series of pints inspired by their favorite Scranton-based paper company.
In an event dubbed ‘The Office Christmas Party,’ owner Amanda Burk has created sweet concoctions that call back to the popular television series.
The lineup includes:
- Kevin’s Famous Chili: Red Velvet ice cream with crushed pecan nut meats, chocolate beans and cream cheese frosting “sour cream” swirl.
- Angela’s Freezer: “Leftover Party Planning Committee” Very Vanilla Cake Batter ice cream with buttercream swirl, coconut cat hair and white “Sprinkles” (RIP).
- Stanley’s Choice: Pretzel Day: Peanut Butter ice cream with pretzel twists and ‘mustard’ mousse.
Each flavor will be extremely limited, and trust us – they’ll sell out quickly. If you want to get a chance to scoop up a pint or two, you’ll have to log onto their online shop at 7:00 p.m. (seriously, be prompt) on December 16 to order. Pickup will be at their shop on Friday, December 18 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
And if you happen to miss this special event, don’t fret – Burk makes it a point to introduce fun, inventive flavors to her bi-weekly pint drops of her cashew-based ice cream. Recent flavors include Yellow Snow (Vanilla with lemon drizzle and sugar snow sprinkles), Ecto Cooler (Sweet citrus), and Candy Cane Chip (Pink Peppermint with crushed candy canes and mini chips).
