A new report says that The Bachelor will be filming this season at Nemacolin Woodlands.
Western Pennsylvania, will you accept this rose?
There’s some big news brewing in Bachelor Nation. According to Steve Carbone, who runs the super-popular (and incredibly accurate) Bachelor spoiler site Reality Steve, this year’s season of the ABC series will be filmed at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania.
Carbone reported via Twitter that season 25 of The Bachelor, starring bachelor Matt James, is set to begin filming at the Pennsylvania resort at the end of September.
Typically, both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette shows are filmed at the “Bachelor” mansion in Agoura Hills, California, with the show’s lead and various contestants traveling across the globe as the season progresses.
But this year, everything is different.
The current season of The Bachelorette, starring Clare Crawley (and/or Tayshia Adams – if you know, you know) had to be filmed entirely at La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. And now, it seems as if the next season of The Bachelor is following suit and filming in one location, too – Nemacolin Woodlands.
This wouldn’t be the first time that The Bachelor franchise filmed at the Pennsylvania resort, either. Back in 2016, bachelorette JoJo Fletcher brought suitors to the resort for an episode of The Bachelorette. (It was also featured on a series of episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac, for all you Bravo fans out there).
And, while neither ABC nor Nemacolin Woodlands Resort has confirmed the news, there is some supporting evidence to suggest that this is actually happening.
To start: All of the availability for the resort is completely blocked off from Sunday, September 13 through Tuesday, November 24 (the dates that The Bachelor has filmed for the last 12 years).
AND, a number of Bachelor alums, including Jason Tartick, Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan have been posting about (and visiting) Nemacolin Woodlands this week. This is not serendipitous!
Anyway, ABC is typically very guarded when it comes to any details about upcoming seasons, but if they do film at Nemacolin Woodlands this Fall, what does James and his contestants have to look forward to?
A lot!
The luxury resort sits on nearly 2,000 acres in Farmington, with more than 300 guestrooms, suites, townhouses and private upscale homes.
There’s a spa, adventure center, Jeep off-road driving academy, private safari/wildlife experiences – and 15 restaurants and lounges, including Lautrec, a AAA Five Diamond restaurant led by James Beard Award semifinalist Kristin Butterworth.
There’s also a number of outdoor pools, a salon, a golf course, and a wedding venue (just in case!).
The next season of The Bachelorette is set to premier on Tuesday, October 13, and The Bachelor typically premiers every year in January.
Want to experience the resort on your own? Rooms are available on select nights from now until September 13.
And, if you’d like to try your hand at actually being on The Bachelor this season, casting is still open, and applications are available at BachelorNation.com/apply.
