Spork Pit – a barbeque restaurant located on Penn Avenue in Garfield – has shifted gears for the holiday season.
The space has new holiday hours (Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.), but that’s not all that’s new. In honor of the festive season, the restaurant is offering a new menu of pie and gourmet hot chocolate and coffee.
Pie flavors include: Key Lime Pie, Toasted Coconut Crème Pie, Shoo Fly Pie, Pecan Pie, Apple Pie, Peanut Butter Pie, Chess Pie, and Chocolate Silk, all for $5 a slice (+ $2 if served a-la-mode). The 12-inch pies generously serve eight people and are available for $30.
The hot chocolate comes in various flavors including: Bourbon Pecan, Cherry Almond Cocoa, White Chocolate Macadamia, Reese’s Peanut Butter, and Holiday Spice. The cocoa has a Belgian chocolate base with crème and a frothy top. A cortado size (4.5 oz) is $6 and $11 if spiked. In addition, locally roasted Black Forge Coffee is $4 with Coffee Cocktails for $10.
