Hot Cocoa Bombs Near Pittsburgh: Where to Find Your New Favorite Treat

November 1, 2021 by Emily Catalano 10 Comments

If you’ve spent any time on foodie Instagram or TikTok lately, you may have seen something called Hot Cocoa Bombs being promoted by chocolate makers and candy shops.

It’s a delightful sweet treat, made up of a hollow chocolate ball that’s been filled with mini marshmallows, and (sometimes) other candies, chocolate chips and hot chocolate mix. When you place the Hot Cocoa Bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it, the bomb ‘explodes,’ with marshmallows, creating a decadent hot cocoa drink.

Just look at how satisfying it is!
