With the weather warming up and Easter just around the corner, we’ve rounded up a list of all of the kid-friendly Easter events and Easter Egg Hunts near Pittsburgh this year.
And, while it will still be a few months before things begin to feel a little more normal, these limited, outdoor events (masks required!) are making the holiday feel a little more festive.

Easter Egg Hunts Near Pittsburgh 2021
Easter EGGStravaganza
Saturday, March 27
Crossroads Ministries in Finleyville is hosting a free Easter event on Saturday, March 27 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. The event includes an egg hunt, hot chocolate, cookies, a raffle, and kid’s activities. Find out more on the event page. This event is rain or shine.
Greensburg Community Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 27
The city of Greensburg’s Recreation Department and the Greensburg VFD is hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 27. The event is free, but tickets are required. The egg hunt is open for children ages 12 and under, and the hunt will be staggered based on age. Find out more information on the event page.
Easter Drive-Thru at Dormont Pool
Saturday, March 27
Head to the Dormont Pool Parking Lot on Saturday, Marc 27 for an Easter Bunny drive-thru. The Borough of Dormont Recreation Board will also be passing out do-it-yourself cookie kits. The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or until cookie kits run out. Don’t forget to wear your mask when receiving your cookie kit! Find out more information online.
Edgewood Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 27
Edgewood is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Koenig Field on Saturday (with a rain date of Sunday, March 28). Kids ages one to 10 are invited to bring their own bag or basket and collect treats and prizes at this free event. The egg hunt will be grouped into three timed hunts, based on ages. Socially-Distant Community Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 27 – Saturday, April 3
In Hampton Township, enjoy a socially-distant community Easter Egg Hunt on March 27. Families are invited to drive around the township to look for egg decals on storefront windows through Saturday, April 3.

Ross Township Easter Egg Hunt
Sunday, March 28
The Easter Bunny has left some eggs in Ross Township! Their annual Easter Egg Hunt is happening outdoors, and masks will be required. Find out more information here.
Easter Experience on the Hill
Sunday, March 28
Carnegie Presbyterian Church in Carnegie is hosting a free Easter storytelling event on Sunday, March 28. The socially-distanced event will feature various activities along their outdoor trail in the woods, with activities, games, candy and more. Registration is required for staggered admittance, and information can be found on the event page. The rain date is April 3.
Community Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 3
Community Church Harrison City in Irwin is hosting an East Egg Hunt for kids ages one through second grade. The event will feature crafts, game, an egg hunt, a miniature pony petting area, cookie decorating and more. Registration is free, but timed tickets are required. Find out more on the event page.
Sutersville VFD Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 3
Starting at 10:30 a.m., Suttersville Volunteer Fire Department in Sutersville will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt. Tickets are required for each child’s age group. Find out more information on the event page.
